I have spent seven years working in Health Promotion with a focus mindfulness, emotional regulation, suicide prevention, and alcohol and other drug prevention and education. I have a passion for creating and implementing evidence-based interventions that help increase student, faculty, and staff skills and wellbeing.
I received my BA in Journalism and Technical Communication at Colorado State University and my MA in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Northern Colorado. I have also worked in prevention roles at the University of Oregon and University of Northern Colorado. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, getting outdoors, dancing, and engaging in mindfulness practice.
