CARTSS Fall 2026 Grant Program

CARTSS accepts seed grant proposals from CU-Boulder faculty and graduate students conducting research in the Social Sciences, regardless of home department.

Deadlines for the Fall 2026 grant proposal submissions will be announced by the beginning of September.

Faculty Awards up to $4,000

CU-Boulder tenured/tenure-track faculty are eligible

Graduate Student Awards up to $1,200

CU-Boulder graduate students who have completed 1 year of their PhD program are eligible.

Application information for both awards will soon be made available on this page.

Proposals can include a request for an additional $1k supplemental grant to incorporate undergraduate students(s) as a member(s) of their research team (for a maximum budget of $5k for faculty proposals and $2.2k for graduate student proposals).
