This virtual workshop provides an overview and mentorship for graduate students applying to the National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP). The GRFP provides 3 years of support for students pursuing full-time, research-based graduate degrees, including an annual stipend ($37,000) and tuition coverage. Students applying to graduate school or in their first or second year of study are eligible to apply. This 4-series workshop will provide a general overview of the fellowship application, matching with a mentor who’s previously won a GRFP, and guidance on writing the personal and research statements. Participants must be applying to programs in the social and behavioral sciences and attend all sessions.
