Edie Zagona participated in a Nile Drought Management and RiverWare Workshop at the University of Khartoum on October 29–31, 2019. Water resources experts from the Ethiopia, Sudan and Egypt gave presentations on their RiverWare model applications of various aspects of the Eastern Nile Basin. Kevin Wheeler of Oxford University and Professor Gamal Abdo of the University of Khartoum hosted the workshop, which focused on modeling drought conditions, particularly with the use of RiverWare.
