Dr. Wu’s primary interests are in temporal databases, the semantic web, knowledge representation, and data science. Most of his research has been in extending the Resource Description Framework (RDF) for temporal dimensions. Before joining CU, he taught algorithms and data structures, programming languages, and database management courses. Dr. Wu’s career plan for the next five years is to develop and apply an inclusive, engaging, experiential, and inspiring pedagogy in data science education, both in-person and online.
