Dawn Folston

Dawn serves as a Project Manager in the Division of Academic Affairs, where she supports cross-departmental initiatives that strengthen student success, streamline operations, and enhance institutional collaboration. She brings a strong background in higher education administration, program management, and event coordination, with a focus on improving processes and fostering meaningful connections across teams.

Before joining CU Boulder, Dawn worked at the University of Michigan, where she managed academic programs and large-scale events supporting graduate education and student development.

Dawn holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan. In her free time, she enjoys DIY home projects, fitness, and spending time with family and friends.
