Elizabeth Pae

Elizabeth Pae is the Director of Human Resources in the Office of the Provost, where she provides strategic HR leadership in support of academic affairs and institutional priorities. This role works collaboratively with the senior leadership in the Division of Academic Affairs, including schools, colleges, and academic support units to provide divisional HR strategy. Elizabeth is responsible for advising officers and their leadership on policy, procedures, and best practices with the goal of providing a positive and inclusive employee experience for all.

Elizabeth joined the Boulder campus from the CU Denver School of Public Affairs, where she served as Assistant Dean of Administration. She holds a MPA with an emphasis in Public Management from CU Denver and a BA in Sociology and Peace and Conflict Studies from CU Boulder. Elizabeth is a past president of the CUPA‑HR Rocky Mountain Chapter and remains actively engaged in regional and national higher education HR leadership.
