- Equity and Excellence Awards
Equity and Excellence Awards recognize CU-Boulder students, staff and faculty who have successfully and effectively worked to promote the principles of inclusive excellence in teaching and learning, higher education program management and leadership development. - Chancellor's Advisory Committee for Minority Affairs (CACMA)
The CACMA awards are given to campus units to recognize their continuing efforts to create a diverse and supportive, learning, working, and living environment, as well as their commitment to promoting an understanding of multicultural issues. - Chancellor’s Committee for Women (CCW)
The CCW award recognizes women who are advocates for other women and departments that work to improve the climate for women at CU.
CU System Awards
- President's Diversity Award
The President's Diversity Award recognizes the contributions of faculty, staff, students and academic or administrative units whose service contributes to the development of a more culturally diverse campus community. Nominations are solicited annually in the spring. An awards ceremony, hosted by the president, will take place at the end of the spring semester.
- President's Fund for Student Diversity
The fund supports both traditional and innovative projects that enhance ethnic, cultural and gender diversity among University of Colorado students.
- Faculty Recruitment and Retention Grants
Faculty Recruitment and Retention Grants are designed to enhance campus and/or school/college efforts to recruit and retain tenured, tenure-track and clinical faculty whose research and/or teaching advances diversity and inclusion. A small number of awards of up to $10,000 each are available to the campuses. Requests for Faculty Recruitment and Retention Grants are made by the provost.
- Diversity and Excellence Grants
Diversity and Excellence Grants are designed to provide assistance for projects initiated by faculty and/or staff that seek to contribute to building inclusion and a climate of cultural competence. Multiple awards of up to $3,000 each will be made.
