Funding

2017 Tinker Funding - Deadline is Monday, April 3, 2017

The Tinker Foundation's Field Research Grants Program provides graduate students with funds for travel to and within Latin America to conduct pre-dissertation research. While each department has different stepping stones to disseration research, we will give priority to pre-dissertation research (including MA and early doctoral students). These awards allow students to acquire a comprehensive knowledge of language and culture, familiarize themselves with information sources relevant to their studies, conduct pilot studies and preliminary investigations, and develop contacts with scholars and institutions in their respective fields. This opportunity is for students who have not yet been funded through the Tinker Foundation Field Research Grants program. Click here for comprehensive application instructions.

Application deadline: April 3, 2017, at 5 p.m.
