The Experimental Aerodynamics Laboratory is led by Dr. John Farnsworth, Associate Professor within the Ann and H.J. Smead Aerospace Engineering Sciences Department at the University of Colorado Boulder. 

Our goal is prediction, observation, understanding, and control of complex three-dimensional unsteady flow fields focusing on aerodynamic applications. Key application areas are fluid-structure interaction problems, novel methods for control in aeronautical vehicles, and wind energy.
