Awarded to a CU Boulder undergraduate student by Jewish Studies faculty nomination
Barry and Sue Baer were early donors to Jewish Studies at CU Boulder. Each year, this endowed Jewish Studies scholarship supports a promising undergraduate Jewish Studies student who demonstrates academic success, a passion for public service, and scholarship that benefits the public good or other demonstrated evidence of a civically engaged student.
Students are nominated for this award by faculty in Jewish Studies and must be pursuing a major or minor in Jewish Studies to be considered. Awards are made in the spring, and students serve as the scholar through the following academic year.
