Graduate education leading to the Ph.D. degree in Geophysics at the University of Colorado at Boulder is organized as an interdepartmental program.
Students may enter the program by admission to any of several participating departments, the choice of which will depend on the student's previous academic preparation, experience, and career goals.
As an alternative to the Geophysics Ph.D. Program, students may enroll in the Geophysics Certificate Program, which
allows students to obtain recognition for their accomplishments in geophysics, without having to switch into the Geophysics degree program.
