All members of the CU-Boulder campus community are invited to attend the Campus Diversity Summit which takes place in February every year. This annual event features interactive sessions designed to increase awareness of and encourage open dialogue about diversity issues. Diversity Service Recognition Awards are presented to campus units to recognize their diversity efforts.
The Diversity Summit supports CU-Boulder's strategic goals to foster a supportive campus community and to enhance student learning. Supervisors are encouraged to allow staff to use administrative leave or release time to attend one or more of the sessions, and faculty are encouraged to bring their classes.
Each year, the Boulder Campus Diversity Summit is organized and sponsored by the Chancellor's Advisory Committee on Minority Affairs (CACMA) and the Office of Diversity, Equity and Community Engagement (ODECE). Over the years additional sponsorship support has been provided and is always greatly appreciated.
