The Chancellor's Awards for Excellence in STEM Education were established in 2009 to support faculty and graduate student engagement in innovative research on student learning and implementation of research-based STEM education programs and initiatives. To see a list of past and current fellows and view their proposals, visit the Chancellor's Scholars page.
$10,000 faculty/staff awards and part-time (25% during the academic year, 50% during the summer) graduate awards of up to one year are available. Applications may propose support for STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) education projects in the early stages, for the coordination of existing projects, or to seed efforts that can continue beyond the funding period.
