Welcome to The Data in Politics (DIP) Undergraduate Journal! This publication aims to acknowledge the important and growing connection between data science and political analysis by using cutting edge data analysis to discuss current world happenings. DIP seeks to regularly publish non-partisan articles that address the importance of data and data analysis in drawing conclusions and enable individuals to rigorously evaluate their own beliefs. Placing data and data analysis at the forefront of the social sciences adds a further dimension of understanding to our world and the Data in Politics Journal strives to be part of this effort.
The Data in Politics Undergraduate Journal is a product of CU's Chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha, the National Political Science Honors Society.
