Spanish Language and Literature Track

Our major in Spanish Language and Literature consists of 32 credits. Within these 32 credits, you need to complete the following courses:

  •  SPAN 3010 or SPAN 3120

  • SPAN 3100

  •  SPAN 3050 or SPAN 3150 or SPAN 4430 or SPAN 4450

  •  SPAN 4150 or SPAN 4160

  • SPAN 4170 or SPAN 4180

  •  6 more SPAN credits at the 4000 level

Since you have already completed 20 credits to become a Spanish minor, you may need only 4 additional 3-credit courses to become a Spanish language and Literature major, depending on how many major requirements you already have as part of your minor.
