Colleen Dunne

Colleen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish, French, and Psychology from the University of South Carolina and a Master of Arts in French from the University of Colorado Boulder. She taught French and Spanish at University of Denver's Center for World Languages & Cultures before returning to CU Boulder as a Lecturer. Her teaching experience and curiosity about heritage language acquisition led her to pursue another MA in Hispanic Linguistics. In her Spanish classes, she facilitates collaborative learning centered on communicative practice in the target language, equipping her students with the linguistic skills, intercultural competence, and self-confidence to meaningfully apply their learning beyond the classroom.
