Catalan Club

The CU Catalan Club aims to spread Catalan culture, gastronomy, history and politics all over the University of Colorado at Boulder. This club is a non-profit organization intended to serve as an exchange platform between American and Catalan cultures, and a means of encouraging Catalan students to socialize and share different viewpoints with American and other international students. This is accomplished through several activities and cultural events throughout the year.

Organization's Principal Activities, Events, or Programs:
- Celebration of traditional Catalan festivities through several events: Diada Nacional, Sant Jordi, Castanyada... - Talks, debates, or seminars about the current situation and development in Catalonia, Europe and the United States. - Provide information and advice to CU students who are interested in going to or studying abroad in Catalonia or Spain. - Gastronomic events to shear Catalan food with other CU students. - Screening of soccer games and movies. - Diffusion of Catalan culture on media: brief description of Catalan events, places, people... posted on facebook, CUCAT website (blog), and twitter on a weekly basis.
