Assistant Professor of Chicano/a/x, Latino/a/x, U.S.-Mexican, Central American Literatures and Cultures
The Department of Spanish and Portuguese at CU Boulder is pleased to announce that we seek to hire a tenure track Assistant Professor of Chicano/a/x, Latino/a/x, U.S.-Mexican, U.S.-Central American Literatures and Cultures with a 2-2 teaching load. The position can include subspecializations in indigeneity, Afro-Latinx, globalization, migration, environmental and digital humanities, and transnational identities. In addition to literary studies, the candidate’s research may focus on film, visual art, music, performance studies, media, creative writing, and digital culture. Expected start August 2024, pending final A&S approval. The Department of Spanish and Portuguese at the University of Colorado Boulder may find it necessary to hire lecturers to teach courses when we experience teaching needs in the Fall and/or Spring semesters.
