Paul Fleming, Ph.D., is the principal investigator for wind energy control systems at the National Wind Technology Center.   He received his PhD in electrical engineering from Vanderbilt University in 2009.  His research focuses on wind farm control, including the modeling and design of wind farm control strategies.  He has led some of the first public field demonstrations of wind farm controls and commercial facilities.
