Project Description:

The Research Assistant researches and develops metrology techniques for Radio Frequency (RF) waveforms and plasma generated in an Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP) chamber. The associate utilizes optical instrumentation and diagnostic tools to create methods for characterizing plasma parameters, including ion and electron distributions, within the chamber. Some of their key responsibilities include but are not limited to optical or electrical engineering, the design and implementation of measurement systems involving spectroscopy, lasers and electronics and MATLAB or Python programming.

Research Interests:

Plasma Diagnostics, Optical Spectroscopy, Nanofabrication
