Project Description:
The associate works on experimental research on superconducting circuits for quantum information applications. Specifically, the associate utilizes high frequency electromagnetic simulation software for design and modeling, as well as cryogenic measurements for characterization of device parameters. Such devices include superconducting qubits, microwave resonators and mechanical systems in the quantum regime. Some of their key responsibilities include but are not limited to the design and simulation of superconducting microwave circuits, cryogenic measurement of DC and rf properties of quantum devices, software programming for instrument control and data analysis, presentation of results at internal and external meetings, as well as in scientific peer-reviewed articles and general lab maintenance and improvement.
Research Interests:
Superconducting qubits
