On Friday, Aug. 19, 2016, the University of Colorado Boulder’s Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) discovered that its storage trailer had been stolen out of an East Campus parking lot in the area of 3100 Marine St. The trailer was placed in the lot and secured on Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2016. 

The trailer description is:

  • White
  • 4’ x 6’
  • Mirage brand, model MXL46SA
  • License Plate is a Colorado Government plate with number W43193T

The value of the trailer is estimated to be $1,500. Inside the trailer, the ROTC stored 70 sleep systems, a military-grade sleeping bag. Each sleep system is worth approximately $500. Pictures of the sleep systems and a similar-looking trailer are attached.

Anyone with information regarding the possible identity of the suspect is asked to call the CU Boulder Police Department at 303-492-6666.
