Facilities

Overview

Each individual research group has its own facilities, in addition to the following:

Both the JILA and Physics facilities will be available to our REU students.

Physics Department Resources:

• The Colorado Nanofabrication Lab
• The Physics Precision Instrument Shop
• Trades Teaching Shop: a dedicated professional machine shop

JILA Facilities

Including but not limited to:

• 1600 square foot clean room
• An electron microscope
• An electron beam machining system
• Extensive shared computing facilities, including two clusters totaling over 225 cores (pictured).
