Research

My research background was in theoretical condensed matter; studying quantum transport across single molecule junctions.  Currently I use thermodynamic dynamic density functional theory (DDFT) to study colloid systems out of equilibrium. The primary goal is to develop a continuum model of active (particles that can propel themselves) systems that display dynamical phases and collective behavior.
