Yuning Guo

Current Position: Associate Professor in Physics at Xi'an Jiaotong University

During her time at the Wavelab, Yuning's research topic was wave engineering in phononic structures with periodic/quasiperiodic configurations. Her work involved topological states in the platform of periodic minimal surface and tunable Lego plate. By introducing geometrical and symmetrical modulations, she designed diverse phononic metamaterials inspired by condensed matter physics with novel and unusual mechanical and acoustic functionalities.
