2025 National Collegiate Honors Counsel Conference

Annika recently attended the 2025 National Collegiate Honors Counsel Conference in San Diego. This conference gathers honors students, staff, and faculty from around the nation and invites them to share their experiences. Many schools hosted lectures about various aspects of their honors program/college and provided useful advice. Annika presented a poster on her work with the protein metallothionein at a poster session alongside fellow honors students. Additionally, two keynote speakers, Emily Calandrelli and Tawakkol Karman, were very inspiring for those involved in honors education and were a highlight of the conference.
