  • I graduated with a B.S. in Biology from the University of Miami in 2019 and I was a part of the HHMI Bridge to Baccalaureate program. Currently, in the Biochemistry PhD program in CU Boulder, I joined the lab to continue my interests in gene regulation and expression. My project is focused on defining the mechanistic roles of miRNAs during myogenesis using a myoblast cell model along with a crosslinking affinity purification approach (xOP-seq) to identify direct mRNA targets of miR-1 and miR-206. Outside of the lab, I enjoy hiking, dancing, and cooking!
