I graduated from Regis University in 2017 with a B.S. in Chemistry and a minor in Math, where I completed an honors thesis which reviewed current technologies in organic photovoltaics. Since joining the Biochemistry Ph.D. program, I have taken a particular interest in biophysics and gene regulation. In the lab, I am using our home-built single molecule TIRF microscope to study the transcriptional regulation of TFIIE.
