Academic Background: B.S. Molecular Biochemistry - California State University at Long Beach

  • My Ph.D. research uses Total Internal Reflection Fluorescence (TIRF) microscopy to understand the binding dynamics of HMGB1 to regions on chromatin. I graduated from California State University, Long Beach with my B.S. in Biochemistry and was motivated to continue my studies here at CU Boulder due to the opportunities to connect with members of the biophysics community, as well as develop my passions for research, mentoring, and scientific outreach.
