Striving for racial equality in academia and science

In response to recent events regarding the “Black Lives Matter” movement, the Goodrich/Kugel Lab decided to provide here some resources and information for those that are interested in learning more about the movement, particularly as it relates to higher education and science, and what you can do to help. Jen and Jim supported the participation of lab members during the #ShutDownAcademia / #ShutDownSTEM day, which happened on Wednesday, June 10th, 2020. It is important that we stand against racism, especially inside our workspace. We hope these resources can provide more information about what is being done and what can be achieved through respectful conversation and education.
