Congratulations on graduating Joel!

Joel Meyers graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.A. in Biochemistry and Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology, he also minored in Spanish. He was mentored by Thomas Rivas, a graduate student in our lab. 

Joel says his future goal is to attend medical school. In the meantime, he is looking to gain more clinical experience by working for a couple of years.
He relished his undergraduate experience: "Being in the lab gave me an idea of all the work that goes into scientific research. Although my future plans don’t involve research, I learned a lot and enjoyed the time I was a part of the lab!".
We are really proud of all the hard work he put into his thesis!
