Zihui (Lily) Zhu
- Master's Student from John Hopkins University
Lily is a recent graduate from Johns Hopkins University, obtaining degrees in Cognitive Science and Applied Math. She is a current master's student in Data Science with Johns Hopkins. Her research has focused on children's acquisition of complex symbolic systems, e.g., natural language and multi-digit numbers, via behavioral experiments, corpus analyses, and computational modeling. Specifically, she is exploring the structure and processing of multi-modal information in children's language learning environment that result in successful acquisition and communication. Lily is currently working on her master's thesis at the DEL Lab: the project examines the learnability of cross-linguistic number name systems by training deep learning models.
