The Healthy Buffs Living and Learning Community (LLC) is a supportive, welcoming environment for students who value well-being, balance and personal growth.  

Here, you’ll connect with peers who share your interests, gain access to wellness resources and spaces and build routines that help you thrive at CU Boulder and beyond. Whether you’re passionate about wellness or simply seeking a more connected college experience, Healthy Buffs offers the resources and community support to help you grow at your own pace, manage stress and make lasting connections throughout your college journey. 

A Community Built Around Well‑Being

The Healthy Buffs LLC welcomes undergraduate students—including first-year, transfer and returning students from most colleges—who are interested in supporting their own health and well-being, as well as that of others. To participate, students should be willing to move in early and take part in the Mind and Body Buffs pre-arrival program.  

Healthy Buffs LLC students live in Stearns West, creating a shared living environment where community and connection can grow naturally. All Healthy Buffs LLC members receive free access to: 

  • Wellness and study spaces: Dedicated quiet spaces where you can recharge, focus or unwind between classes. 
  • Community fun and events: Planned social activities like bowling nights, hikes and other low-pressure ways to connect, relax and have fun with your community. 
  • Peer Wellness Coaching: One-on-one support from trained peer wellness coaches to help you set goals, manage stress and build habits that fit your life. 
  • Fitness classes: Join classes so you can explore movement that works for you, whether that’s yoga, strength training or something new. 
  • Early move-in: Get settled in before the semester starts, making your transition to campus a little smoother. 
  • Swag and giveaways: Enjoy Healthy Buffs-exclusive swag and wellness-themed giveaways throughout the year. 
  • Meaningful connections: Build friendships and a sense of belonging that often last well beyond your first year at CU.
