Christine Cornea is Lecturer with the School of Film and Television at the University of East Anglia. She is the author of Science Fiction Cinema: Between Fantasy and Reality and has published a number of articles and book chapters on science fiction. She also has an interest in screen performance and her edited collection Genre and Performance: Film and Television was published in 2010. She is working on a further book project, currently entitled 'Post-Apocalypse on the Small Screen.'
