The Department of French and Italian welcomes you to a film screening of the Italian film Autumn Beat, with a Question-and-Answer Session with the Director and Writer Antonio Dikele Distefano! “Autumn Beat” produced by Amazon Studios and co-produced by Indiana Productions is an exciting and unprecedented story about Black culture...

The event will be on Monday February 13th at 4:00 pm in The Hive at ALTEC (Hellems 159). We will have crêpes and games and we will be introducing the department and French Club. Also, a study abroad liaison will talk about study abroad opportunities!

The next French Club film, Ladj Ly's 2019 Les Misérables (not the musical), will take place on Tuesday, October 11th in HUMN 135 from 5:00pm - 7:00pm. The movie is highly acclaimed and it is truly incredible filmmaking. You can watch the trailer here .
