Lola is originally from Toulouse, in the southwest of France. She earned a B.A. in English Language, Literature, and Civilization from the University of Montpellier in 2020. During her undergraduate studies, she spent a year abroad at Saint Francis University in Pennsylvania, where she discovered her passion for teaching French as a foreign language. This experience led her to pursue an M.A. in Teaching French as a Foreign Language at the University of Montpellier. Her master's thesis focused on written corrective feedback and the analysis of error processes among learners of French as a foreign language.

Throughout her academic journey, Lola gained teaching and research experience in elementary and middle schools in Montpellier. She worked closely with newly arrived adolescent students from North Africa and Eastern Europe who had limited or no proficiency in French, exploring effective pedagogical strategies to support their linguistic and academic integration.

From 2022 to 2025, Lola served as the Cultural Program Coordinator and French Instructor in the French Department at Colorado College. In this dual role, she organized campus-wide cultural events celebrating French and Francophone cultures and taught French language courses at the elementary to advanced levels.

Deeply passionate about languages, travel, and intercultural exchange, Lola brings a global perspective to her teaching, enriched by her time living in Martinique and across the Francophone world. She is committed to inclusive, equitable education and strives to create learning environments that honor students’ diverse backgrounds while fostering curiosity and appreciation for the richness of Francophone cultures.
