Did you know? The University is the largest centrally controlled irrigation system west of the Mississippi River with 83 satellites running off a single network computer.

CU's physical irrigation system consist of 3,320 total "stations" - small zones where irrigation happens - each with 20 sprinkler heads. That's a total of 66,400 sprinkler heads on campus!
