Mini-Conference: Plasma and Quantum Information Science (2023)

The first ever conference on Plasma and Quantum Information Science was held at the 65th Annual Meeting of the American Physical Society Division of Plasma Physics in Denver Colorado on November 1-2, 2023. Quantum Information Science (QIS) is a rapidly developing field that may impact plasma and fusion energy science (FES) through enhanced sensing and computing capabilities. Conversely, control techniques and novel materials enabled by plasma physics may contribute to QIS advancements. The objective of the mini-conference was to provide a forum to share recent progress, discuss current challenges, and brainstorm future opportunities.
