Additional info: Coming from textiles, one of the oldest industries, to aerospace, one of the newest, has been a big shift in mentality and thinking. I love the challenge of attempting to make a small dent in the immense tasks that drive the aerospace industry through novel material development. Outside of the walls of CU, I coach a local swim team, paint murals, and love to spend as much time as possible running the hundreds of miles of trails around Boulder.
