Land of Plenty Issue Guide cover
Text about the development of this issue guide.

Since February 2016, Associate Director Jeff Motter has been working with a team from the Kettering Foundation in Dayton, Ohio to develop an issue guide about access to food. A team of twenty-four people from across the United States researched the issue, collected surveys, hosted concern gathering discussions, and framed the initial discussion guide during our June 2016 meeting. From June to October, the team continued to develop ideas and test the draft issue guide with groups ranging from senior citizens to high school and college students. After receiving feedback from various discussion groups, the team refined the issue guide over the course of the next six months.

In March 2017, the issue guide was finalized: Land of Plenty: How should we ensure that poeple have the food they need?  To order copies of the issue guide, visit the National Issues Forums website.
