BoulderTalks is a Center for Public Life

BoulderTalks is pleased to announce that it is officially a Center for Public Life. Associate Director Jeff Motter and CU Dialogues Director Karen Ramirez were part of the 2016-17 Centers for Public Life Cohort. Joining twelve other teams from across the country, Motter and Ramirez traveled to the Kettering Foundation in Dayton, Ohio on four separate occassions. While at Kettering, they learned how do design community converations about local issues, facilitate community discussions where multiple viewpoints are present, and report those findings to decision makers in the community.
BoulderTalks is now officially a network partner of the National Issues Forums and a Kettering Center for Public Life. We seek to be a resource for the campus and Boulder County to advance democratic practices of local decision-making and reciprocity to help build better communities.
