BoulderTalks at the GOP Debate

On Oct. 28, 2015, BoulderTalks Associate Director Jeff Motter and five CMCI students live-tweeted the CNBC Republican primary debate from inside the hall.
CMCI students Nicoli Bowley, Megan Haase, Benjamin Kaufhardt, Lexie Pike, and Jordan Travis were selected to attend for their exceptional work in COMM 3310 Principles and Practices of Argumentation. They live-tweeted the event using the #BoulderTalks hashtag and focused on the argumentative strategies the candidates employed during the debate.
Students networked with Colorado's leading Republicans and led with their voice by analyzing the arguments candidates made.
Motter, an expert in political campaign communication and argumentation, also participated in the post-debate spin room and spoke with media outlets from all over the country.
