Ryan Guild

Ryan Guild is a Professional Research Assistant and Senior Project Manager at the Crown Institute, dedicated to supporting youth and the communities that foster positive growth and wellbeing. With a strong passion for social and emotional development, his work focuses on understanding the cognitive and behavioral factors that shape individuals across the lifespan. Additionally, Ryan works on the Data and Systems team, creating systems and processes that support the mission and vision of the Crown Institute.

Before joining the Crown Institute, Ryan worked at the Cognitive Development Center, researching executive function, mindfulness, and meta-cognition. In addition to his research, he is actively involved in reparative justice efforts, volunteering with CU’s Restorative Justice Program to repair harm, promote education, and strengthen community connections.

Ryan holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder, along with certificates in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Colorado Boulder and Restorative Justice Facilitation and Leadership from the University of San Diego. He brings a developmental perspective to his work at the Crown Institute, designing evidence-based resources to help youth thrive as their whole selves.
