Ivan Mayerhofer, PhD

Ivan is currently an MA student in the Religious Studies department where he returned to complete some research in Buddhist Studies on contemporary Buddhisms in the United States and Orientalism. He has practiced and taught Buddhism, meditation, and mindfulness since 2007. Prior to CU Boulder, he worked as a high school English teacher in a Colorado public school and as a lecturer in philosophy at Colorado College. His PhD is in Philosophy from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He also has an amazing cockapoo named Charlie and enjoys spending time on long walks in the mountains.
