Wednesday, April 16, 3:00-5:00PM, Meeting the Moment with Mindfulness: Applied Research for Resilience and Wellness

  • Where: Crown Institute Aspen Room
  • Join us for a Mindful Campus Program Speaker Series event featuring Amishi Jha, PhD, author of bestseller Peak Mind. In this presentation, Dr. Jha will share her research and explore the intersections of mindfulness, resiliency, and wellness.
  • The lecture will take place from 3:00-4:00PM; followed by a Q & A and reception from 4:00-5:00PM.

Thursday, April 17, 6:30-8:30PM, Treasure: The Endowment of Embodiment workshop with Donna Mejia

  • Where: Crown Institute Aspen Room
  • Reset and nudge your body back towards balance with this free, 2-hour experiential session developed and facilitated by CU Associate Professor & Renée Crown Wellness Institute faculty fellow Donna Mejia.
  • ALL identities, bodies, abilities, and experience levels are welcome. All offerings are consent-driven within this trauma-informed class. Please wear stretchy, soft, comfortable layers for complete freedom of movement and relaxation. Bare feet are ideal for some segments. Please bring your sense of play, humor, and adventure!

  • Where: Crown Institute Peace Place or if you are interested joining virtually please email CrownInstituteEvents@colorado.edu
  • Join us in person or on Zoom for a weekly drop-in meditation session every Wednesday! Led by a different facilitator each week, this group is an informal way to get some peace in the middle of your week while sharing in community!

Fridays, 10:00am-12:00PM, RAP Lab Community Jam (excludes CU holidays) 

  • Join Crown Faculty Fellow Dr. Kalonji Nzinga upstairs in the podcast room at the Crown Institute each Friday for RAP Lab!
  • These 2-hour community gatherings create space for creative scholars in CU Boulder's undergraduate and graduate community to meet, engage in meaningful conversations, and use recording tools to create content that supports their work.
  • Sessions are drop-in and open to undergraduate and graduate students
  • Final meeting of the semester is May 2, 2025

Mondays, 3:40-5:00pm, Weekly BIPOC meditation group 

  • Where: Crown Institute Peace Place
