Student RAP Office Liaison Job Description

The Student RAP Office Liaison (SROL) will be part of a Residential Academic Program (RAP) team involving the Creative Minds RAP Director and the Program Coordinators group. The SROL is responsible for assisting with communication and student service. They will hold regular office hours to make themselves available for Creative Minds RAP student services. The SROL helps RAP students get answers to their questions appropriately. The SROL is the bridge between the Creative Minds RAP Office and RAP students and reports directly to the RAP Program Coordinator working in Creative Minds RAP.

The SROL works as a team member to assist with possible additional communications, as requested by the Program Coordinator. The SROL assists with phone calls/tours for prospective students. The SROL assists with marketing communications for RAP events. The SROL also assists the Program Coordinator with day-to-day office related tasks.

The SROL attends event planning meetings with the CM RAP Program Coordinator. The SROL works directly with the Program Coordinator, assuring that event promotional information is shared and distributed 1-2 weeks prior to the event and all p-card and reimbursable receipts, and attendance information are reported to the Program Coordinator promptly.

The SROL will be available Friday afternoons for office hours and will have additional office hours sometime Monday through Friday, and the SROL will be available for evening events Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday as needed (approximately 2 events per month). The SROL’s average workload is approximately 6-10 hours per week although some weeks will require additional time investment. The SROL will be paid $16/hr capped at 10 hours per week.
