I. Solfège mapping

Provide the missing solfège syllables, then notate correct pitches on the staff provided. Each example will be played twice.

II. Seventh chords

Clearly indicate the quality of each chord. MM7, mm7, dom7, half-dim7, fully dim7).

III. Tonic expansions

The first and third chords are tonic; the second is some inversion of V7. Provide Roman numerals.

IV. Rhythmic dictation

Notate the rhythm on the one-line staff provided. There are no rests. You will hear one measure of clicks to establish the tempo.
