Lauren Kelly Benson (they/ themme/ theirs) is a healer, artist, facilitator, theologian, abolitionist and Director of Religious and Spiritual Life at Ithaca College. They have spent the last few decades teaching yoga and mindfulness as well as consulting in schools, workplaces, and other institutions. Their praxis supports shifts away from capitalist white supremacy and towards mindful, connected, restorative, interfaith, anti-racist ways of being. Together. An alumni of Union Theological Seminary with a Masters of Divinity in Interfaith Ministerial Leadership with a concentration they called a “Ministry of Presence,” they look forward to continuing to integrate the role of the Divine into the collective project of getting free.
