NewsTeam Boulder logoNewsTeam Boulder is a live, weekly newscast produced by journalism students in the College of Media, Communication and Information. The show airs on Comcast channel 63 live at noon, and repeats at 6 p.m. and 10 p.m., on Tuesdays and Thursdays. It’s also streamed on Livestream.

NewsTeam Boulder began as a 30-minute newscast in 1987, and boasts a long list of alums who are working all over the country in multiple broadcast roles. One of our first graduates is NBC News correspondent Tom Costello. Other NewsTeam Boulder alums include 9News anchor Kim Christiansen and Peabody award-winning 7News investigative reporter Marshall Zellinger.

NewsTeam Boulder is a 4-credit journalism course that gives students the experience of producing an actual newscast. More than just a class, we're Boulder's only live television newscast, covering mostly campus, city and county news.
